Ask a Librarian provides live, online Chat reference during Spring semester hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00  a.m.– 5:00 p.m.
Sunday: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

After-hours, students may still send a message to reference@sunywcc.edu or text to 914-861-3315, and receive help the next morning.

Full-length feature films (selected by WCC instructors) may be linked to on Swank Digital Campus  
Films on these platforms may be embedded and are available to the entire campus community

 

Renewing or Returning Library Materials
We re offering perpetual renewal for library materials during the emergency closure. All overdue fines will be waived through the end of this semester.

Interlibrary Loans
Many libraries in our networks have suspended inter-library loans. If you re in need of an electronic chapter or article not available in our collections, please e-mail us at reference@sunywcc.edu mailto:reference@sunywcc.edu . We may be able to obtain copies via e-mail from other institutions.

Current Academic Support Services

WCC students will be able to access the Academic SupportCenter tutorial services remotely via our ASKATUTOR service Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Virtual Tutoring Through ZOOM:

Students can request a ZOOM virtual tutoring session through AskATutor.  To do so, from the links on ASKATUTOR page, select the subject and complete the form.  Enter all of the information such as: name, WCC email address, course information, and instructor name.  In the question field request to schedule a zoom session and include questions or upload file.  The tutor will reply with a meeting invitation link where both can access the Zoom meeting.  Request a Zoom Tutoring Session should be done with at least 12 hours’ notice.
