What is RefWorks?

Writing a paper or preparing a project? . . .  Working on a joint project?

RefWorks logo helps you to:

  • create your own database (list of references) for a paper or project;
  • export references from article databases and from the Web;

  • generate bibliographies in proper MLA or APA format; and

  • share lists with others in our academic community!

Use the tabs contained in this guide for step-by-step instructions on:

1.) setting up your individual account;

2.) recording references;

3.) creating a Works Cited or References page;

4.) logging in from off-campus; and

5.) sharing lists with your professor or group members.

We have also selected some Tutorials that may be of further interest to you.
